The summer is well and truly over and Bloodstock 2018 is just a distant memory, but here at The Revival we are looking forward to 2019! Sabaton have already been announced as Friday headliners for next years festival and today we fund out who is joining them.
The festival is the highlight of the summer for every metal head in the UK and across Europe as the best bands across a multitude of metal sub genres come together over four days to entertain the masses in warmth of the August sun.
To support the previous announcement Children of Bodom will be joining Sabaton on the main stage on the Friday evening. A perfect accompaniment to the headliners and a great booking - the only time you will see them in the UK in 2019.
The first band to be booked for the main stage on the Saturday are UK black metal stalwarts Cradle of Filth, in their first Bloodstock appearance since 2009. A decade on Dani Filth and his clan with bring their dark aural depravity back to the Catton Hall fields.
Meanwhile, Sunday see's a slew of bookings. Swedish melo-death metallers Soilwork, Queensrÿche and Hyprocracy all get slots on the main stage.
The biggest news of all is that Twisted Sister legend Dee Snider will be joining them on the main stage for a solo appearance on Sunday evening. Following a stunning set with TS just a few short years ago, his solo act promises to live up to that!
I think you'll agree, another amazing line up from Vicky and her team, ensuring that Bloodstock 2019 will be just as strong, if not stronger, than those that have come before it.
