Its only been a week since Carnifex hit the stage in Birmingham supporting non other than Deathcore titans Thy Art Is Murder on the mother lode of all deathcore lineups.

It didn't take much for for us to snap up the opportunity to sit down with frontman Scott Lewis to talk all things Carnifex including the current tour, the bands influences and that dirty word to some, Deathcore.

Its been a strong year for Implore who whave just seen the release of their album 'Alienated Despair'. Having been quite the regular in our playlists since release, we just couldnt pass on an opportunity to have a quick chat about the album.

Alienated Despair is Implore’s third album and it hits with the ferocity of a hurricane and doesn’t let up for its thirty-one minute run-time. It’s a brutal half-hour too, with the intensi...

Bokassa have been the talk of the town as of late. Fresh off the release of another potential album of the year ‘Crimson Riders’ things couldn’t get any bigger for this once unknown stonerpunk trio from Trondheim, Norway. In fact their days of being an unknown band are over as they finish up a run of dates with none other than the mighty Metallica, something some might consider most metal bands dream.

With Norway being an...

Germany’s Downfall of Gaia have been operational for a little over a decade and in that time have released five albums, the latest of which, Ethic of Radical Finitude, is perhaps their most accomplished. They hype surrounding this latest record over the past couple of weeks has been real and very much deserved. With what can only be described as a masterpieces (and certainly an early contender for album of the year) we sat dow...

German heavy metal outfit Kissin’ Dynamite finally broke through to the bigger stage in 2018. Thirteen years after forming they signed to Metal Blade record’s and their latest album 'Ecstasy' gave them a worldwide audience and a chance to expand beyond the borders of their homeland.

Yet, up until today they have only played one UK show. This week that all changes as they hit the road with Powerwolf for a jaunt across the UK and...

You’ve never heard of Shaking Corpses? We are not surprised, they are the new kids on the block, three like-minded musicians from other bands who have formed a “supergroup” of sorts. On Friday 14th December they have their first single coming out, a Christmas ditty just in time for the Yuletide celebrations.

We sat down with the trio to find out some more about the project and what their plans for the future are.

In just under two weeks time, one of the biggest UK bands back at the turn of the millennium hits the road again for their first tour in years. Pitchshifter, “back in the day” were the driving force behind the ever changing British alternative / heavy music scene and with contemporaries like earthtone9 and the like in tow, they changed the scene for a generation.

Fast forward to 2018 and Pitchshifter are returning for a short U...

Its festival season folks! And with that comes once more our annual excitement for all things Punk Rock and Rebellion Festival that takes place in Blackpool Winter Gardens. Don't be fooled by the location name though or the name of the next band we are speaking too. There will be nothing 'winter' or 'blizzard' about Rebellion Festival this year as the lineup is bringing pure summer heat with band after band of scorching punk i...

Its been a busy year for Monolord and things are only shaping to get busier as they look ahead to where the real hard work begins – Touring in support of their latest offering ‘Rust’ which has done well to showcase their ‘impenetrable wall of distortion and spell-binding vocals’. In light of hearing the record (be sure to check out our review right here!) We felt it only right to quickly catch up with one of Sweden’s finest mu...
